A feature on two extravagant top-end vehicles.

The Super Car – Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder with its screaming 5.2L V10 making 600 hp and 440 lb-tq via the 6-speed E-gear transmission. Upgrades include RSC ECU, Kreissieg valve-tronic exhaust and full Carbon Technocraft kit with superleggera wing and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Look out for this car next year as it will be equipped with the infamous underground racing (stage 3) 1250 whp twin turbo kit.

The Super Sedan – Top of the range Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG with its famous hand built M275 Twin Turbo 6.0L V12 making 800 hp and a whopping … wait for it … 1000 lb-tq. This enormous power is what mountains are moved with all thanks to a fully built Renntech stage 4 engine upgrade and the full WALD kit to top it off.

Huge thanks to Jorje for bringing out some of his toys for us to play with and the opportunity to experience these fine pieces of machinery for us to enjoy. “My daily driver is faster then my weekend car, and my weekend car is a Lamborghini … ” lol.

Once a year PureMB is the host to the largest Mercedes meet here in Toronto. With vendors, great music, familiar faces, fellow car enthusiast and great food this meet has all the right combinations to make it better as each year passes. The Sigma Racing Time Attack & Human Racing 2012 wrap up.

What a incredible event this was. One of the most organized and professional events I have ever been invited to. I had the pleasure of covering the Final event of 2012.

SRTA believes that motorsports can be affordable, competitive, and open to anyone interested in auto racing. Unlike regular lapping days, SRTA provides our participants with an in-car lap timer for the whole event. Throughout the day, the lap times are collected, displayed and continuously updated on large displays in the main meeting area. The leader board standings are then used to determine the starting order for each driver in the Official Time Attack.

Fitted Showcase is Canada’s aggressive fitment culture. It was a huge success and a great show with awesome prizes and great people. Best of all it was all FREE!

We’ve had the pleasure of the guys at Canibeat supporting the scene up here in the Great White North.

Reflecting back to 2010, Stretch&Poke was the first aggressive fitment event in Toronto, and most likely Canada. They are now in their 3rd year and have increased their reach and attendance exponentially. Here’s some comparison for you. In 2010, the word-of-mouth event gathered a little over 100 cars. At this meet, they easily overtook the parking capacity at Downsview Park and had over 500+ cars in attendance.

2012 C350 4matic Coupe
2009 C63 AMG Sedan.

Heres a shoot we did for our friend Caleb and his 2009 Civic Si recently featured on February/March issue of HONDA TUNING, and previously featured on Canibeat.

Most people mistake this car for your average run-of-the-mill CSX converted Si, but this is the REAL DEAL.  A true JDM Type R conversion was done… everything thing from headlights, bumpers, taillights, fenders, everything! not a single corner was cut here. But that wasn’t good enough for Caleb so he took it to another level by adding a J’s Racing lip, J’s air ducts, diffuser, and another hand full of parts… too many to list in-fact. This ladies and gentlemen, is one of the first converted Si’s in North America and the time and level of commitment that went into this car is what makes it special. Thus making him the KING of 8th Gens in our books.
